The Rebuild Ukraine conference 13-14 November was an exceptional event that brought together hundreds of companies, numerous national pavilions, thousands of professionals, and many key decisions shaping Ukraine’s recovery.
Security as a topic on the EU stage
Vesper Group’s commitment to the recovery of Ukraine is strong, protecting those who are rebuilding the country. Vesper’s speakers on the EU stage made it clear that with the right security precautions it is possible to travel and do business in Ukraine. The talk was moderated by Business Sweden’s Trade Commissioner in Kyiv, Andreas Giallourakis.
Business Sweden’s Trade Commssioner Andreas Giallourakis with Vesper Group’s Kyiv analyst Ermina Strutinschi and CEO Richard Möller.
Security analysis from Ukraine
Vesper’s Kyiv-based analyst Ermina Strutinschi presented the Ukrainian security environment. In brief, she emphasized that the security environment in Ukraine is very diverse, with significant differences depending on distance from the frontlines. Media coverage of attacks and Russian advances in one region mean nothing for another. Territorial shifts have little or no impact on Kyiv, although the situation on the frontlines along with internal and external political developments carry consequences for government stability. She provided an expert analysis where she presented the different ranges and shifts of weapons systems, air attacks and civilian casualties.
Enabling European countries in Syria
CEO Richard Möller described Vesper Group’s presence in Ukraine since 2021 and the establishment of a Ukrainian subsidiary in 2024. He also talked about the company’s longstanding commitment of 20 years in the Middle East, currently in Beirut and Damascus, enabling EU countries in their efforts to stabilize the region.
Partnership for security: Vesper + Venbest
A memorandum of cooperation was also signed in the Swedish Pavilion between Vesper and the Ukrainian security company Venbest. The partnership represents a powerful combination of experience and establishes high security standards in Ukraine. Venbest contributes deep local expertise, a strong operational infrastructure and a nationwide presence across all regions. Their centralized monitoring centers are certified according to European standards and the company is an affiliated member of the International Code of Conduct Association ICoCA.
